New Years Resolutions
What are your goals and how can we help to achieve them?
I still try to set new years goals, but I know a lot of you dont.
May people stop with new years resolutions, because the "failed" in the past.
Here are some steps that can help you reach your goals:
- Baby Steps
Many people get in trouble when they go for the full 100% right away. When you start something new, dont't over-do it! If you start lifting weigths: start with 2-3 times per week, not every day. Start with easy weights, and if you can handle those you can gradually add more weight, or more reps. - Accountability
Tell a friend, a co-worker, a significant other: let them know what your goals are and how you are planning to achieve them. Give them permission to "nag" you a bit. They are helping you to stay on track. - Be Realistic
Set realistic goals. If you start with running, you can't expect to be able to run a 10K after a few weeks of practice. - If you need help, email us and we can see how can assist you in reaching your goals
